Beginner C # Applications

Question

I just started learning C # and I want to start creating small applications that are lightweight but powerful.

Does anyone have any project ideas? I'm interested in hearing what you mean. Most of my experience is related to HTML, CSS, JS, PHP.

Since C # can be used in several types of applications, I would try to perform the same task in each. Perhaps a simple application that connects to a database and searches based on user input. It is possible to connect to the pubs database that comes with the SQL Server samples.
