When I tried to add ASIHTTPRequest for the iPhone project, I ran into many compilation / linking problems even after following allseeing-i instructions .
So, after comparing my new project with the working draft from allseing-i, I found out that a few things were missed in the tutorial:
- Not all the frameworks the project needs will be included. My project was missing libxml2.2.7.3.dylib .
- Then in the “Target Settings” settings there is another configuration “ Header Search Paths ” and add the path: $ {SDK_DIR} / usr / include / libxml2 , make sure that you really check the box. this will direct the compiler to the libxml2 files from which you will receive errors.
This should be enough to really start the project! :)
