I just downloaded and installed NetBeans IDE 6.9 and configured it over the past few hours. I finally just realized that there should be a Profile menu that gives me access to memory profiling functions, snapshots, launching GC, viewing HeapWalker, etc.
He is absent !
The only thing that can be remotely closed in the profile menu that I can find is the toolbar → Toolbars → Memory toolbar, which gives me access to force the GC to turn on and take pictures. But I want a whole set of profiling features!
I went into the help dialog box, and according to it there should be a profile menu ... but it is not!
Do I need to activate something to get the profile as a visible menu, or am I missing something?!?
