IPad View Controller memory management

Question

I have 3 view controllers in my iPad app. When the first one appeared, the activity monitor in the tools informed me that the application memory is 25 MB. After calling [self presentModalViewController], a new view controller appeared, the memory capacity increased to 50 MB, and then the third, 70-75 MB.

What is the best view controller memory management for developing an iPad? I always get a Memory Warning now when I'm on a real iPad.
