TFS 2010 Publishing Multiple Projects

We have TFS 2010 with continuous integration. Each code check leads to the assembly and publication of the website on the dev server.

Now we have a second project referenced by the first. The second is a standalone application with several assemblies. Our site points to one of these assemblies.

I managed to change our CI assembly definition to be Project2created before Project1. Project1builds correctly and finds links to Project2.

What I would like to do is also create a standalone application for Project2at the same time (it is not visible anywhere on exit from the Project1CI assembly ).

Can / should I do all this with a single assembly definition? Do I need to create multiple assembly definitions with the same triggers?

You can add a second project source to the workspace section of the definition of your assembly. After that, you can choose sln or xxproj for a stand-alone application.

In general, I feel that having dependencies between teams is a bit of a smell. I would often decide to include them in the same team project, because they seem to be very dependent on each other or make Project1 dependent on Project2, but they pull out the assembly of successful Project1 projects that can be hosted in Project2.

Just a thought.
