IPhone Application Database?

I programmed in other languages ​​and such, but I still have a bit of iPhone noob. My hope for my application is to store about 2100 elements or so, each of which has information and an image and allows the user to select from their list and add them to the TableView.

Is saving this large amount of data realistic? If so, how?

Saving 2100 items in SQLite is possible and will work as expected. The only thing to remember is to always filter before showing and never show more than 100 or 200.
