LabVIEW: have multiple indicators (different styles) for one variable

Question

The variable changes throughout VI several times. I would like to display it on two different tabs on the front panel, in different styles (thermometer, numerical indicator).

This answer does not work for me, since there is no "digital display" if the variable is already displayed elsewhere.

You can connect any number of indicators to the same data source. Just use the tool to connect the terminals in the block diagram.

If you write data to a local variable of one indicator, and you want the second to be updated at the same time, you have several options:
