What do different kinds of Android do in Eclipse?

Does anyone know what different kinds of androids do in eclipse. In particular, the "tree view", "tree view", "view properties" and "layout", you can access them through Window..Show View ... Other ... Android

I cannot find any documentation on them or work out what they do. I clicked on classes and layouts, but they never change.

With ADT 9.0.0, all of these species have disappeared into Eclipse and have obviously returned to hierarchyviewer.

However, with ADT 8.0.0 and ADT 8.0.1, you have these viewing options.
