We have a large classic ASP website, and we want to start writing new code in .net (you can rewrite 100% on this website at this point).
The old website uses session variables, will they still be available on .net pages, and if not (which I suspect) is there anything we can do to make them available?
The new section is removable, that is, it practically does not depend on the rest of the site, therefore it should be well written in .NET, these are just important sessions for us. Do we need another login page?
How bad is ajax on a local .net page that sets up session information when entering the old site? Can we copy session data this way?
