Null user certificate in HTTPServletRequest

Question

I am running a servlet in Weblogic 10.3 with two-way SSL enabled. When I try to get the following attributes from HTTPServletRequest, both are null:

- javax.servlet.request.X509Certificate
- weblogic.servlet.request.SSLSession

How to access user certificate from servlet? I searched online with no luck.

I would see how your keystore is configured. In my experience, such an error can occur if a certificate signed by a user or server is not imported to the keystore correctly.
