I am working on a large SQL Server database without documentation. Is there a good, preferably free, documentation tool that I can use to get around it.
One of the tools that I am using more and more to do such things is LinqPad ( www.linqpad.net ). It is much more than a Linq tool. This is very good, allowing you to navigate through table relationships if the FK is correctly in place. This tool is free.
On the non-free side, we also use the Red-Gates SQL document ( http://www.red-gate.com/products/sql-development/sql-doc/ ). Great tool.
