Creating text effects (e.g. flash) using javascript in HTML5

Question

Can someone suggest me how to create text effects (for example, we can create in flash) in HTML 5 using javascript / jquery. And also a custom font for any text appears there? Is it possible? any example?

You really need to look at Css3 for text effects. But if you want to create full animation, then Canvas will be your HTML5 choice.
