Retrieving IIS 7 Site Properties

Question

I have a C ++ application that should get IIS 7 site properties (such as metabase properties, similar to properties in IIS6 - Path, AppFriendlyNameetc.).

With IIS 7, my code does this:

• Receive AppHostWritableAdminManagerand pass the path MACHINE/WEBROOT/APPHOST/Default Web Site/.
• Call GetAdminSectionwith the section name appSettings.
• Then look at the returned collection and find the property ( Pathfor example).

This works in IIS 6, but not on IIS7 / 7.5.

What changes need to be made to make this work?
