I created a test database for the CakePHP tutorial that I am working on and just used the default settings for phpMyAdmin for the mechanism (MyISAM.) Now that I’ve been doing a few tutorials, this means that to use some of the functions, tables should use InnoDB.
Is it possible (either in phpMyAdmin or through importing an SQL file) to change the selection of the table engine after they have already been created? They currently have data, but these are just a few records, so I don't care if I need to clear the tables. I just don't want to completely recreate the tables, if at all possible.
I cannot find a way to do this in phpMyAdmin - the only place I can find a selection of engines is when I create a completely new table.
