Couchdb remote replication issue: ubuntu (local) CentOS (remote)

Question

trying to replicate couchdb between my local machine and the remote server. For some strange reason, replication fails with an error message:

"Failed to replicate: {bad_term, <0.12494.1>}."

In fact, some of the documents are imported successfully, namely about 300. Live db contains about 1,500 documents.

We are debugging this process, and we have concluded that couchdb replication has a throughput of 1 document per second.

The problem is that we cannot replicate the remote db to my local machine.

Is there anyone with a similar problem? Any solutions here?
