How to get Wi-Fi information. in Android?

I need to write a wifi scanner on Android. It works fine, except that I could not find a way to get the group AccessPoint( a/b/g/n) from this ScanResult provided by the Android wifi manager.

Is there any way to get this information? Or do I need to go to a lower level? (possibly impossible).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
