Rails 3 bundler & rvm: piece gems not showing up in gems list?

Question

ubuntu 10.04 slimy lynx or whatever, is the OS for a production application. I also installed rvm, and the other, while on Mac, dev, and the production rubies and gems are the same.

Now I'm used to seeing all the gems collected in gem list... as usual, but when I do gem listin the manufacturing process, I do not show any related jewels.

This means that I cannot use rails cany other stone.

I found out that I can do something bundle exec rails cor something similar, and use the console just like that, but I'm more interested in why this happens and how to fix it, so there are all the jewels in the list of gems. he just feels good.

When in development mode on your mac, gems are still installed in the default gem path, while in production mode they are installed in a folder specific to your project. Try to do bundle show railson each machine, and you will see what I mean.
