Today I encountered an error that appeared only when I started my program immediately after loading my computer. A cold start showed the race condition that caused the error. I managed to fix it, but it took a long time because I had to restart my computer several times to find out what was happening. Can anyone suggest better ways to debug such issues in the future? Can I somehow quickly put my computer into the "just loaded" state?
Running Python 2.6 on Windows XP.
