How to recover lost svn password?

I just finished reading about passwords in "Version Control with Subversion", but could not find a solution for the lost and forgotten password. Is there a way to recover a lost svn password?

As you probably read, there are many ways to set up a Subversion server .

Svnserve

This is the easiest option. Passwords are stored in a text file on the server. Recovery is trivial.

svnserve via SSH

Subversion is not involved in the authentication process that is delegated by SSH. All SSH forgotten password problems can be resolved.

Apache server
