Multi-client sockets in Java?

Question

Soon I will finish using one client chat system as a recreational personal project, and I was wondering ... Is it easy to convert something like this in order to have multiple clients or require a lot of rewriting?

And anyway, how would you do that? Please describe !: D Thank you!

Also, how do you transfer files through a socket?

Simple conversion of one client to several clients. It depends on how you wrote your application. Since you are rewriting an application that has been written many times before, I assume that you are not afraid to rewrite the code, and you do this as a training exercise.
