Scaling with LinearLayout

I have a LinearLayout that will contain some other views. I would like to be able to scale and reduce the actual LinearLayout as a whole. Is there any way to do this?

No, sorry, there is nothing built-in to enlarge regular AFAIK widgets. WebViewand MapViewknow how to scale. Everything else is yours.
