Jetty does not start with a WTP plugin

Question

When I start the Jetty server in Eclipse (using the jetty-wtp plugin), the console displays this error message: Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/transaction/UserTransaction

My installed environment:

• JDK 1.6.0
• jetty 8.0.0.M2
• jetty-wtp

How can i solve this?

Try adding the JTA API to your classpath. You can download from java.net Maven repo in

http://download.java.net/maven/2/javax/transaction/jta/
