Xcode error while trying to view .xcdatamodel

I have an application supported by Core Data that I have been working on for some time. I use version control (formerly SVN, now Git) to move it between different Macs.

The other day I was not able to open a project. OH CRAP. Fortunately, because of Time Machine, I was able to go back in time and revert to an earlier version. I suspected there was something with the Xcode project files or the Core Data files (I ran into some problems this guy did, I think), but everything seemed to work, and I moved forward.

But now I realized that when I try to open the .xcdatamodel file in Xcode, I cannot. He just hangs, and then I complete the Force. In addition, the application works fine. I can deploy it on a simulator or device, and it works. But I don’t know how I hope for editing. Any tips on what I can do to fix this?

I was in the same situation now, but when I carefully looked at the source code of the model file, I saw all the elements with strange attributes relative to the rect screen

<element name="myEntity" positionX="0" positionY="0" width="0" height="0"/>

so i change this to

<element name="myEntity" positionX="10" positionY="10" width="128" height="240"/>

for all objects. This did the trick, now I can open the model file again in Xcode.
