Can IIS 7 URL Rewrite Module rewrite outgoing HTML loaded via AJAX?

The IIS 7 URL Rewrite module allows you to update URLs embedded in outgoing HTML .

However, this does not work (at least for us) on outgoing HTML loaded via AJAX.

Does anyone know how to do this?
