How to specify a file name with spaces in the Subversion command line

Question

I am trying to execute a subversion command line argument.

However, it does not seem to mean that the file name has spaces

Example: User Guide Version 1.0.doc

I tried to enclose in double quotes "User Guide Version 1.0.doc"

and in square brackets '[]' in vain [User Manual Version 1.0.doc]

I'm missing something

On the cmd Windows command line, you need to use double quotes in unixes too, which you can use.

svn add "my file"

and

C: \ kev> svn co file: /// kev / dummy dummy2

A dummy2 \ User Manual Version 1.0.doc

Finally, seeing a branch named "doc" makes me wonder if you understand what branches are for. See Explanation Which branch in the SVN book. Branches are designed to simultaneously save different copies of your entire project, and not to organize various components (for example, source and documentation) of the same project.
