How to avoid lag / freezes with Samsung RFS file system?

The Samsung Galaxy S comes with a proprietary file system called RFS .

In some cases, this file system is apparently inefficient. Some applications get lags, while others just freeze when using it. This led the external team to create a tool that basically ported the entire system to ext4.

But not every one of them is technically zealous to apply it, or does not want to risk hiding the guarantee on the smartphone.

I understand that the ideal situation would be that the file system was transparent and efficient in all cases. But, since this does not seem to be the case, I would like to know:

Do not do I / O on the user interface thread. It is so simple.

This means that you do not load the settings, do not query the database, do not decode bitmaps, etc. etc ... use background threads for all of these things. Use StrictMode to keep your code straight and narrow.
