Deploying ClickOnce Interactive Installation File System as a Single .exe File for Offline Installation

Any ideas on how to pack the ClickOnce file directory into a single .exe file for offline installation? I know that this is not intended for this purpose, but using Windows Installer is NOT an option for me, because I just need to run the application without any installation process (just like ClickOnce online installation works). I tried using the IExpress tool to create a self-extracting .exe, but unfortunately it does not support filetree. Can I use .cab packaging for this purpose?

If you want to run the application without any installation process, you can simply copy the contents of the \ bin \ release folder to the folder on the target machine and configure the shortcut for the EXE file.

Please note that you need to make sure that the necessary prerequisites are installed (have) on the target computers.
