Serialization and deserialization in the .NET Framework 2 and 4 - C #

What's wrong with good ol ' XmlSerializer?

You say that you still want to serialize objects to XML files, but it is XmlSerializersupported in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework, as well as 4.0 / Silverlight.
