Open pfx certificate container in .NET.

Question

Where can I find information on opening a PFX store that contains a certificate? I came across this , however I am a kind of beast in the PfxOpen class.

Change I have a pfx file exported using a private key. I save this in my database. I want to be able to open the pfx file and read the information from the certificate contained in this pfx file, for example, serial number, expiration date, etc.

X509Certificate2 cert = new X509Certificate2 (file name, password)

from there you can see what's in the certificate. X509Certificate2 has a lot of overloads. check it out.
