I just added the required code to my Android app and released the update to the market.
Thinking about this, I wondered what data usage is. Analytics does not send tracking data immediately; instead, it sends cached data at a specified time interval or manually with a call in your application.
In my application, I do this every minute. I do not think this is excessive, since my application will probably not be open for a long period of time between use.
I have three actions in my application that each track is a page view. If the main activity is loaded, it is tracked once. If nothing happens (i.e. doesn’t restart or load other actions) after this monitored pageview, will it continue to send data or will it not change anything and therefore will only send additional data when more pageviews are tracked?
