Is there a library like itext that can write field values in pdf format?

I use the itext setField function to save the field value in pdf format, but after I use itext, I found that the whole pdf will be damaged, you can no longer edit the PDF document in Adobe Reader. It will show you that the file has been modified, and the advanced feature in Adobe Reader cannot be used.

So I'm looking for another library that can do the same job. Another problem: after I signed a document with an identification card, if I try to edit a PDF file using the itext library, it will cancel all previous signatures. but if I use acrobat, edit the fields, all signatures will be well preserved.

Is there any similar library that I can use to perform the above steps?

According to http://support.itextpdf.com/node/6, you need to fill out the form in add mode to save advanced Reader features.

I have no answers for signatures.
