I have a webpage that continues (when the user clicks "Next") to a complex server operation. Internet Explorer sometimes gives the user the impression that nothing happens at this stage, so I wanted to display the gif “loader” and the message “Please wait ...” However, the gif loader, for example. http://ajaxload.info stops spinning as soon as Internet Explorer changes its location in href, giving users (who are "special") the impression that they have "hung" on the website and they close the page!
I thought that the element <iframe>is what I need to stop the rotary loader from freezing, but it’s not. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how can I achieve this?
