Can lisp be used to write viruses or other malware?

I'm just curious. I always hear that C or assembly is the language of choice for viruses, and I wonder if any of the more mysterious languages like lisp or schema can be used for it.

Yes. What matters is not the language, but the environment in which it works, has permission to modify files.

In AutoCAD W32 / Bursted, the virus was written in a version of Lisp called AutoLISP.

Not really a virus, but here's an interesting interview with the encoder that used TinyScheme in some adware.
