SSRS 2008 R2 "Error: Subreport cannot be displayed"

I have a separate report that does not work. I added it as a subordinate and linked all the parameters, but when I run the report in BIDS, I get an error message in the subject of this message.

I can expand the report, and I can see the subreport when I log in to the SSRS web interface.

This will simplify the work if I can collect / debug the report through BIDS.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
