Ganymede vs JSch?

I am currently evaluating open source tools for tunneling ssh and http in Java. I came to two applicants: Ganymed and JSch . Does anyone know the pros and cons of each?

Here I take upon myself both after using them:

  • JSch: Ultimately, more flexible, but at the price of a much lower level. It is also poorly documented (no JavaDoc tags), but it is very stable.
  • Ganymed: provides good support for most of the standard SSH operations that you might need (port forwarding, forwarding the return port, copying SCP files, etc.). The documentation is worthy of the Javadok form of primary social classes.
