ASP.NET session disappears / reappears

I was browsing the net, trying to find someone else who had this problem in front of me, but no one describes the exact situation I'm in. Others clean up session states that remain aloof, or they have a short session of states, like 5 minutes, or something like that. My problem, however, is that my session state variables seem to exist for one postback, go to the next, and reappear to a third.

You can log in to my website: EpicClanWars.com , and then maybe refresh several pages, then after the second or third page you will get text fields in the upper right corner, since you are not logged in. But if you refresh the page again, the site will show you that you will be logged in again.

I assume this has something to do with the view, but I know little about the view in ASP.NET or about troubleshooting. To support this, I received a couple of error messages (which I, unfortunately, forgot to save for this message), which related to problems with the MAC and problems with the presentation in the view.

Recently, I had to reinstall the OS on the machine on which my site is running. When I did this, I reinstalled Visual Studio, IIS, SQL Server, everything. Before reinstalling, I did not have this problem. I am using VS.NET 2005 and IIS 7.

So does anyone know what is going on here? and maybe a recommendation on how to fix it?
