Should MD5 enter every letter of the password?

Hi,

I am currently working on a project that includes a login system that should be as secure as possible for configuration.

What I am asking will cost MD5 for each element of the char array (obtained from the Password field), through which you add salt to each char element for hashing with MD5, upon completion, add all the hashes from each character, and then add separate salt to it, and MD5 again?

Is it really safe or just redundant?
