Map URL Conventions on Windows Phone 7

Question

What is the best practice for opening a card from a mobile Internet browser on Windows Phone 7? On BlackBerry, you use the JavaScript method, and on Android / iOS, you simply link to the Google Maps URL.

I plan to integrate various ways of opening maps into my mobile geo-javascript library and not have a device with a Windows phone.

Use maps: protocol for WP7. I did not find any documentation, but it works.
