Is it possible to get the URL of a user's homepage from a browser using JavaScript?

Just so clear: I do not want to reset their home page. I just want to output the URL of my homepage and download the content from it as part of the application demo.

So far, my research has not found anything, is it possible to get the user's home page using JavaScript?

No, that would be a serious violation of privacy. If browsers allowed you to access this data, you could potentially detect the user's email provider, pick bank, or corporate intranet if they set it as the home page.

No. That would be a terrible security issue. I do not want A.N. Another web developer discovered arbitrary browser settings. These are private and browsers are right about this.

If this happened, the browser developer should have talked with the developers.
