PHP website source code (sample)

I am new to PHP and it seems that the way I learn new languages is the fastest - to study a well-developed complete program / website that changes material, seeing what is happening and advising books.

There are many recommendations for books around the world that are largely covered.

I would like to find the source code of the website. Either a well-known, well-developed open source website, or a sample source code for a complete website (perhaps one of them is used in a book or something else).

Everyone says that you have to find a way to learn better .. Well, this is mine.

PS: Upon completion, I mean the presence of several common functions, such as login, connection to the database, the use of security agreements, possibly popular frameworks and relevance.

Why not take a look at Github ? You can find the PHP tag and go through the pages to find something interesting to start with!

Wordpress? A very focused goal, a blog and a relatively small database, as well as many modules to get an idea of the coding of other programmers. Also well documented.
