Why has Ie7 mysteriously cut off the upper bound of these notification items?

I am having problems with ie7 with a notification that is generated using the p tag. I used them before, and they are handled fine in IE7, however in my last thread they turned off the upper bound without changing the code, which gives me a serious headache trying to figure out.

Here is the problem page, notifications are at the bottom of the page.

This is annoying because I used the same html and css here in this thread

Can anyone understand what the problem is with the buggy version?

Forced layout seems to do the trick. You can read here:

:

<style>
.notification { zoom:1; }
</style>
