In older versions (<2.3), there were no problems with this application. When I launch the application on the Android 2.3 emulator, it starts from the "home screen", after which I send the GPS coordinates. After sending the coordinates, the emulator stops all its processes and tries to restart, but then it freezes.
If I comment on the requestLocationUpdates call, the emulator does not crash ...
