XNA photoshop mixing matrix

there is a great page with some c code for blending modes in Photoshop. I want to use some of these modes in an XNA application. In particular, overlay, hue and saturation. Do you think this is only possible with the XNA blending and renaming blends, or will I need to create a shader for these effects?
