The Activity lifecycle section in the app fundamentals tutorial states that there are 3 :
Activity has essentially three states:

But then, continuing to read the actual documentation of the activity class, the Activity Lifecycle section indicates that there are 4 states:
Activity has essentially four states:
(1. active / running 2. suspended 3. stopped 4. “dropped”?)
Both sources (on one site) agree on the first 3, but the fourth is only mentioned in the class documentation and has no name.
So, are there really 4 states or only 3?
If there is 4, then what is the name of the fourth?
