Javascript syntax highlighting

I have code in the pre element in UIWebView on iphone, so I'm looking for a javascript syntax shortcut that will automatically detect a language, such as SO, you do not need to enter which language when adding Mail. I looked at SyntaxHighlighter, which seems the most used, but doesn't seem to automatically detect the language.

Maybe Google Prettify is what you want. I have used it before and it looks durable and useful.

(I'm sure SO also uses this.)
