CSS - Change the overall width

I have a Blogger template that is wider than the screen width and displays a horizontal scrollbar. I want to change it so that it matches, and no scroll bar is shown. But the problem is that I do not know what causes this. I downloaded the template file and in my code editor I looked for all the width properties and changed all the values 100%to 90%and the width of the peak to 100, but still the page is still there.

When looking for an effective rule / rules in such cases, what else should I look for / do? What is a comprehensive things check procedure to find the rules?

It seems that the component has a style min-widthand overflow property set to auto. You can install it in visibleand do it in FireBug Firefox Page Inspector first to see the effect before editing. If you just want to customize the entire width of the mail, the blogger has a standard interface . You can also edit the template manually.
