Is there a GitX equivalent for Mercurial that allows command line execution?

I really like when you can use the command line tool gitxfrom Terminal.app to open GitX and view the Git repository change log that I can scroll through, with beautifully formatted differences for each.

Mercurial is so similar that it would be nice to have a similar tool to just be able to view the commit log, the set of changes differs from the author, etc., for example gitx.

Looks like Murky is what I was looking for. To open the current repository for viewing commits, change lists, and authors, use:

alias murky open -a Murky

and then use the following to open the current repo in Murky:

murky .

( Thanks to Jens Alfke for this info! )

So that I can remember it more easily, I also made the hgx alias for Murky in my ~ / .bash_profile:

alias hgx='open -a Murky .'

That way, I can only cd in the local mercurial repo directory and just type:

hgx

Take a look at MacHg . This is a little better than Murky, IMHO.

hgtk is the best, in my opinion. It's harder to set up and not look beautiful, but it does a lot more than Murky or MacHg.
