How to configure catch-all in an Exchange2010 hub environment?

This link explains how to do this in the border transport environment, which indicates that this does not apply to the transport node. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691132(EXCHG.80).aspx

Do you know what a way to do this in a hub environment?

You need to use CatchAllAgent in CodePlex. It was written to work with Exchange 2007, but it also works since 2010.

The main trick is to install it in the TransportRoles directory according to these links:

1) ZIP

2) "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\agents\catchall"  [ , TransportRoles\agents]

3) config.xml , ,

4) Exchange Management Shell, :

install-transportagent -Name "CatchAll Agent" -TransportAgentFactory:CatchAll.CatchAllFactory -AssemblyPath:"C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\agents\catchall\CatchAllAgent.dll"

get-transportagent

enable-transportagent "CatchAll Agent"

net stop MSExchangeTransport

net start MSExchangeTransport
