MVVM framework and Prism 4?

I just read this question . He has some pleasant answers, but they are older than 1 year, and during this year a lot has changed in this space. Some of the most popular frameworks have been released in the mayor's new release, such as Prism and the MVVM Light Toolkit.

My question is somehow the same, but with one twist I already use Prism 4.0 due to the peculiarities of the area and module.

Prism 4.0 includes MVVM, but I feel that there are some things that are not “easy”, like interaction requests. So I think it would be better to use a different MVVM environment as a replacement or add-on for Prism 4.0?

There is nothing to stop using the MVVM framework in addition to Prism. We use Caliburn.Micro and Prism - there is some crossover in the provided functions and many differences. Use any tool that is most suitable for the problem you are solving.

MVVMLight is fast becoming the standard implementation of MVVM. In particular, thanks to multi-platform support (wpf, silverlight, wp7), extreme compatibility and what you need to create MVVM applications ... nothing more ... nothing less.
