How to use OpenID for authentication in WCF data services from a Windows Phone 7 application?

I have a Windows Phone application that reads and writes data from a WCF data services service that hosts an ASP.NET MVC 3 application.

I can configure both the client and server as needed. I would like to use OpenID if possible, and as soon as the user is authenticated on the phone, they should be able to view the data associated with their OpenID.
